Island Cove Marina

Island Cove Marina was built in 1984 and was originally called the Bayou Chico Marina.  The name Island Cove was devised from its geographic features.  The marina lies in a half moon cove protected by land behind it which is over 20' above sea level. In the front of the marina it is sheltered by and Island not 300' off the end of the docks.  After hurricane Ivan in 2004 Island Cove was the only marina in the area that was fully functional with electricity, water, and fuel sales.  Island Cove supplied the Coast Guard and other emergency vessels fuel and dockage when no other marinas where left operational.

Island Cove Marina

Island Cove is a Florida Clean Marina and has been since 2002. The marina has an old world Florida charm that is not found in most marinas today. The live oaks draped in spanish moss mixed in with palm trees and a sandy beach make Island Cove a safe classic place for sailors and fisherman alike. Many of our customers have been here for many years. Once you stay with us it becomes like home and will not want to leave.
