Palm Harbor marina

In 2005 Palm Harbor Marina replaced Mahogany Landing Marina which was built in 1985. Mahogany Landing was severely damaged during hurricane Ivan in 2004. Palm Harbor was built using the most advanced modern dock building techniques. The docks are floating and made of aluminum with hard wood Ipe decking. They are anchored in place with massive concrete pilings that are 70’ in length. The pilings extend 18’ out of the water to deal with storm serge and Palm Harbor is the only Marina in the area to be rated for a category 3 storm with boats remaining in the marina.
